KBR ISA (Integrated Solutions Americas) seeks a Sr. Telecommunications Engineer to lead telecom and IT scope for large oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical projects.

You will coordinate with customers on telecom strategy, develop program strategy across stages, and direct telecommunication, IT, and cyber security activities. The role requires deep experience across CCTV, access control, network systems, telephony, radio, and cyber security, with strong collaboration across disciplines to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 15 years related work experience with 10 years in industry.
• Oil & gas, refining, petrochemical experience.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, PA/GA, networks, telephony, digital radio, marine, microwave systems.
• Knowledge of cyber security implementation methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience writing specifications and leading supplier initiatives.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE standards.
• Experience with virtualization, servers, network devices, and storage arrays.

Responsibilities

• Define telecom and IT scope from concept through detail design for major oil, gas, refining and petrochemical projects.
• Present to customers on telecom strategy and coordinate with them.
• Develop telecom program strategy through all phases of the stage gate process.
• Direct activities requiring telecom, IT and cyber security expertise.
• Lead multi-vendor design and construction teams and manage suppliers.
• Write specifications and requirements for telecom/IT/cyber projects.
• Prepare detailed designs, calculations and field reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a quality product.
• Stay current on industry processes, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to the design team.
• Architect telecom networks across multiple vendor platforms.
