Job summary

KBR is seeking an Industrial Telecommunications Engineer to support a SME in defining the telecommunications and IT scope for medium to world-scale oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical projects from early concept through detail design.

You will coordinate with equipment suppliers and third-party contractors, prepare designs and calculations, and ensure effective, high-quality outputs across CCTV, access control, PA/GA, network, telephony and wireless systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 4 years related work experience.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, PA/GA, wired/wireless networks, telephony, digital radio, marine or microwave systems.

Responsibilities

• Define telecom and IT scope from concept through detail design.
• Direct efforts of equipment suppliers and third-party contractors.
• Prepare designs and calculations meeting project requirements.
• Conduct field investigations and produce reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality product.
• Stay updated on engineering processes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to the design team.
• Engineer multi-vendor solutions with telecom integrations.
