Senior Technology Staffing Recruiting Services Account Manager - Virtual

SouthTek Resources is a full-service tactical headhunting firm specializing in the unique staffing needs of the Defense and Aerospace, Technology, Manufacturing, Security, and Private Equity markets. We are expanding our Sales and Recruiting teams and are currently hiring Technical Staffing Account Managers in the Metro New York, NY area due to significant growth.

The ideal candidate will have a “hunter” personality, enjoy meeting new people, and build lasting relationships. This person will be a self-starter and comfortable working autonomously with a results-driven mindset.

Our team recruits virtually for various hot markets throughout the Contingent US. If you're a confident Recruiter, working a full desk, building out a book of billable clients and/or placeable candidates from scratch, we would be interested in talking. We work a split desk doing both client-side development and candidate sourcing and recruiting.

We pay high commissions, with a supportive environment, strong training, good systems, and an experienced team with an existing client and candidate base to help you get your first deal quickly.

Our Recruiting Team identifies and sources talent in the following areas:

  • Technical Writers • Network Architects and Admin
  • Data Warehousing • Business Intelligence
  • Software Programmers • Programmer Analysts
  • Big Data and Analytics • Cloud and Virtualization
  • DevOps and Automation • Microelectronics and Hardware

There is a potential equity stake for the right player(s)

Key Points to know first:

  • This will entail working as a 1099 Contract hire from a remote office on a full commission (50/50 split)
  • The largest group of corporate contact leads available for developing your lines of business (SalesProspex)
  • We provide a LinkedIn Recruiter account, a robust database/ATS/CRM, corporate email accounts, an intranet page with resources, training, and job board accounts, branding, invoicing, and more.
  • We also provide a RingCentral cloud-based phone line for free long distance, conferencing, online meetings, and SMS messaging.
  • We use Zenefits cloud-based HR/payroll system for automated processes.
  • You handle your own home-office expenses and taxes.
  • You work with our team and communicate daily.
  • Work splits, collaborate, and share knowledge to win deals together.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business and potential target clients through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, scheduling meetings, and relationship building to grow the account base.
  • Present Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Permanent Placement services to companies in the local marketplace.
  • Work directly with Existing and New Clients to maintain and develop long-term partnerships.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach with C-level executives, middle management, and Human Resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with IT leadership, Recruiting, and Human Resources decision makers.
  • Conduct in-person meetings to understand human capital challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Follow up with prospects to develop business relationships through CRM via phone, email, and in-person meetings; populate the CRM and ATS systems accordingly.
  • Build synergy within the team and organization; develop personal referral networks.
  • Partner with staffing/recruiting teams to ensure superior staffing service to clients.
  • Successful sales experience selling a service (staffing industry preferred). IT/Technical Recruiters seeking to move into an Account Manager role are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to identify and generate new business through outside sales activities.
  • Documented track record of achieving objectives; strong sales mentality and understanding of a sales lifecycle from sourcing to closing.
  • Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, sound business judgment; excellent telephone presence and written communication; team player and natural leader; competitive and highly organized; energetic and persistent; self-starter.
  • Remote work capability required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
