Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is expanding its Internal Audit team with new Technology Internal Audit roles. The Senior Technology Risk Auditor will provide assurance on technology risks and report to Sr. Director - IA Strategy & Transformation, helping assess controls across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and interfaces.

This role focuses on technology risk assessments, SOX testing, and strengthening collaboration with Technology to protect the company and support secure growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, security, or related field with 3–5 years technology audit experience.
• Experience in technology risk assessments and SOX control testing.
• Familiarity with auditing in Azure, Windows, Unix, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or iSeries.
• Knowledge of control frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, COSO) and development methodologies.
• Travel – 15% of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform general technology and integrated audits focusing on infrastructure, cloud environments, and application controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and document audit scopes and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with auditees to document processes and data flows for validation of risks and controls.
• Schedule walk-throughs with auditees and manage audit requests.
• Execute fieldwork, perform root cause analyses, and assess residual risk.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to management in formal reports and presentations.
