Job summary

SEI is seeking a Senior Technology Manager to support the SEI Data Office teams. The role includes coaching and career development for direct reports, removing impediments, and evolving systems used by knowledge workers.

You will manage resources, drive evaluations, lead hiring, mentor teams, align to business mission, advance agile practices, supervise subcontractors, and collaborate with Product Management to ensure strategy and execution alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years IT project management experience.
• Hands-on software development experience in one or more technical disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, loaders, APIs, Snowflake, Power Platform and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience in Wealth Management or financial domain projects.
• Strong understanding of SAFe and agile principles.
• Collaborative work with Agile teams and stakeholders.
• High level of technical savvy and ability to influence.
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize to ensure sprint delivery.
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate platform resource management to assign staff to teams.
• Ensure annual evaluations and training needs are met.
• Lead interview team and hiring decisions for all positions.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching.
• Help establish mission and purpose for teams under supervision.
• Build functional and technical competencies to enhance development capabilities.
• Align teams to the business and program mission.
• Coach agile practices and high-quality code.
• Provide active coaching to advance technical and team skills.
• Oversee subcontractors and consultants within the domain of influence.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align strategy and execution.
• Assist RTE with release planning readiness and removal of impediments.
• Ensure production stability and delivery from teams.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with other teams on Train or Platform.
