Job summary

Advanced Engineering Consultants seeks a Senior Technology Engineer, RCDD, with 10+ years of experience to lead the design and coordination of low-voltage and building technology systems for commercial and institutional construction projects. This role focuses on developing structured cabling infrastructure, security systems, and audio-visual systems from concept through construction documentation.

The Senior Technology Engineer will serve as a technical leader responsible for delivering

Qualifications

BISCI RCDD Certification.
10+ years of designing building technology systems for commercial or institutional projects.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Provide technology system designs for government, educational, commercial, and institutional projects.
Design structured cabling systems including copper and fiber backbone and distribution.
Develop security and AV designs for conference rooms, classrooms, and collaboration spaces.
Coordinate with electrical and IT infrastructure for power, grounding, and network integration.
Lead technology engineer on projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, IT consultants, and construction teams.
