Senior Technology Engineer, Care Chemicals, Spartanburg, SC

As a Senior Technology Engineer, you create chemistry by...

• Leading the drive for technical expertise in yourself and others and pursuing sustainable solutions by supporting a safe and efficient operation.
• Driving innovation by developing creative solutions and serving as a Manufacturing Representative to plan, scope, and implement small to mid-scalecapital projects within the constraints of an operating plant.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting skills to the Operations team and monitoring long-term KPIs and analyzing trends to optimize production.
• Developing and implementing process improvement plans that will enhance safety, quality, plant reliability, cost, and efficiency.
• Managing and supporting Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for all areas of the plant.
• Providing technical solutions and closure to any gaps remaining from PHAs, GPSCs, and/or RCMS Audits.

If you...

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or related discipline
• Hold preferably 5years of Operations Engineering experience.
• Possess strong technical skills, and familiarity with chemical processing equipment
• Have experience in process hazard analysis, management of change, root cause analysis, and incident investigations is required.
• Hold experience formulating capital projects.
