Job summary

PAE in Boston seeks a Senior Technology Engineer to lead complex building technology projects from concept through construction. You will serve as a primary technical resource and mentor, coordinating telecom, audiovisual, security, and healthcare systems.

The role may evolve toward Project Manager or Engineer of Record with oversight of design and fabrication. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, apply relevant codes, and develop client relationships while delivering high-quality, on-time,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • Professional credentials such as PE, CTS, RCDD, PSP desired.
  • 1–3 years technology discipline lead or 6–10 years related experience.
  • Strong communication of design options to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project leadership and manage delivery within time and budget.
  • Prepare deliverables including narratives, calculations, drawings and specs.
  • Attend client meetings and coordinate internal/external teams.
  • Evaluate designs from concept to construction and apply design judgment.
  • Oversee NEC and building/energy code compliance.
  • Mentor staff and develop project work plans.

We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, employees are eligible for annual compensation reviews based on performance and business needs.
