Job Summary:

The Global Technology Office at Belden is seeking a

Senior Technology Architect - Cybersecurity (m/f/d)

As a Senior Technology Architect, you will be at the center of Belden's strategic technology and innovation initiatives, taking on both internal and external responsibilities that drive impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Transform Cybersecurity Trends into Action: Analyze emerging cybersecurity trends and requirements across various industries and verticals. Develop strategic plans and actionable recommendations based on these insights.
2. Innovate and Incubate: Develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, conduct technology feasibility studies, and create technology proofs-of-concept in collaboration with a team of experts.
3. Collaborate and Co-Innovate: Partner with key customers and stakeholders to co-develop innovative cybersecurity solutions.
4. Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across global teams, including customers, product managers, and R&D, to align technology initiatives with business goals.
5. Be a Thought Leader: Represent Belden as a technology leader by speaking at conferences, authoring articles or blogs, and contributing to industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience with a strong track record in a cybersecurity-focused role.
• Domain Knowledge: Broad background with significant depth in network security and security standards; knowledge in operational technologies and mission-critical networks is preferred.
• Market Insight: Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including key players, regulatory environments, and widely used tools.
• Collaborative Networker: Proven ability to initiate and maintain strategic collaborations with external partners.
• Innovative Mindset: Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, with a passion for developing novel solutions.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences—from technical teams to senior executives.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Travel Willingness: Openness to travel.
