Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering, architecture, or technology experience.
• Deep hands-on Java and Java-based enterprise architecture.
• Spring Boot and enterprise Java frameworks experience.
• Designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Enterprise integration and event-driven architecture knowledge.
• Hands-on with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
• Data engineering architecture and large-scale data processing.
• ETL/ELT and batch/real-time data pipelines.
• Modern data platforms, lakes, warehouses, and distributed processing.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) experience.
• Cloud-native, highly available distributed solutions.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized architectures.
• DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
• Security, authentication/authorization, encryption awareness.
• SDLC governance and enterprise standards knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead across multiple teams and drive architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure enterprise apps and data platforms.
• Lead modernization of Java-based enterprise applications.
• Design microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed applications.
• Define architecture for large-scale data engineering and pipelines.
• Design batch and real-time data pipelines for high-volume workloads.
• Architect event-driven and streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Drive cloud-native architecture, containers, and deployment patterns.
• Provide architecture leadership for cloud and data modernization.
• Mentor engineering teams and perform reviews.
• Ensure security, governance, and SDLC alignment.
