Job summary

IVID TEK INC seeks a Technology Architect specializing in Java-based enterprise applications and data engineering to lead architectural design and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions and guide teams across data platforms and microservices.

Expect hands-on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices to drive architecture governance and collaboration with stakeholders and enterprise architects.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall software engineering, architecture, or technology experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Java-based enterprise application architecture.
• Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot and enterprise Java frameworks.
• Extensive experience designing Microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or comparable messaging/streaming platforms.
• Strong experience in Data Engineering architecture and large-scale data processing.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT and batch/real-time data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed data processing.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Lead architecture and modernization of Java-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks and patterns.
• Design and guide development of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed applications.
• Define architecture for large-scale Data Engineering and data processing platforms.
• Design batch and real-time data pipelines supporting high-volume workloads.
• Architect event-driven and streaming solutions using technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native architecture, containers, orchestration, and modern deployment patterns.
• Provide architecture leadership for cloud and data modernization initiatives, including migrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, designs, diagrams, and roadmaps.
