As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as required.

Compensation:

• Compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Additional Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include:

• 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration, or
• 8 years’ experience plus an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration
• Universal EPA Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include completion of a 2-year HVAC/R technical/vocational program or AAS in A/C and refrigeration, an excellent driving record, and experience with Glycol and C02 systems.
