A leading retail company is seeking an experienced Facilities Management professional specializing in HVACR to lead projects, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and relevant certifications. This role focuses on maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting operational excellence and innovation within the team.
Leads and participates in teams in Facilities Management HVACR by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges.
Oversees and implements special projects for field operations by collecting data, evaluating new technology capabilities, correcting deficiencies, and providing suggestions for improvements.
Provides required paperwork by completing forms such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, refrigerant logs, work orders, and submitting them to senior leadership.
Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA regulations, and guidelines by performing work according to safety policies and environmental guidelines, including refrigerant reclamation.
Ensures compliance with industry regulations by conducting inspections and making repairs related to building codes, indoor air quality, and cold chain requirements.
Maintains quality standards by inspecting installations and modifications of HVACR equipment and EMS, ensuring contract compliance, and reporting deficiencies.
Manages resources for HVACR maintenance and repair by managing refrigerant levels, parts inventory, recording purchases, and developing supplier relationships.
Ensures financial sustainability by reporting budget information, requesting equipment replacements, submitting warranty claims, reviewing invoices, and conducting price comparisons.
Provides training on safety, troubleshooting, and system operation through onsite sessions, evaluating technician skills, and reporting to leadership.
Ensures operational readiness of HVACR and EMS equipment by troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing, including preventive maintenance and feedback sharing.
Supports development and execution of action plans by providing expert advice, building relationships, and monitoring progress.
Models compliance with company policies and supports Walmart's mission, values, and ethics by integrating them into business practices and fostering a culture of respect and integrity.

Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
Universal EPA Certification.
Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2-year AAS in A/C and refrigeration.
Excellent driving record.
Prior work experience with Glycol and CO2 systems.
