Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Technician for the TQR team in Austin, TX. You will collect, analyze, and verify data from reliability tools to ensure product quality and oversee tool preventive maintenance and minor repairs in the lab.

The role involves operating wafer‑level DC test tools and package‑level electromigration tools, developing PM procedures, coordinating with vendors, and moving 300mm FOSBs. Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related technical certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in high volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate wafer-level DC test tools and package-level electromigration test tools for reliability evaluations.
• Develop PM procedures and arrange PM/Repairs with Vendors.
• Role is outside a clean room but requires occasional clean room access to pick up or drop wafers.
• Manually move 300mm FOSBs containing 25 wafers, run evaluations using proprietary software, and summarize data using Excel/PowerPoint.
• Maintain strong attention to detail with accountability for errors.

Position Summary

The Senior Technician in the TQR team will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and verifying data from various reliability tools to ensure the quality and reliability of Samsung Austin Semiconductor products. Additionally, this position will oversee tool preventive maintenance and minor repair activities within the TQR Lab.
