Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's is strongly preferred.
• Alternative: two years of technical schooling with relevant experience acceptable.
• Military technical school also considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled assembly work: build, assemble, modify and/or repair prototypes.
• Provide support to engineers on technical projects and data handling.
• Prepare engineering docs, reports, and drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).
• Perform mathematical calculations per engineering specs and document results.
• May set up and conduct tests; record data for engineering analysis.
• May mentor junior technicians and operate calibration of assembly equipment.
