Senior Technician Manufacturing, (Seprafilm) 1st shift

Wayne, PA (USA)

On Site (Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM)

As a Senior Technician II Manufacturing (Seprafilm) at our new location in Wayne, PA, you will perform a variety of operations focused on process expertise, monitoring daily activities of production technicians, providing training and technical support, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Process owner, trained on most processes with strong knowledge of chemical interactions and processes.
  • Seek resources, solicit input, and use techniques to reach solutions.
  • Assist in goal setting and progress monitoring with the Production Supervisor.
  • Transfer technical knowledge to others.
  • Help create high performance in the Manufacturing Group by ensuring safe, high-quality, efficient operations.
  • Perform hands-on synthesis of DSM Biomedical products following quality standards and SOPs.

You Bring
  • BA/BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or 10+ years relevant experience.
  • 6+ years in chemical manufacturing, familiarity with laboratory apparatus, chemical calculations, and safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, experience in GMP or ISO 9001 environments preferred.
  • Punctual, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of preparing reports and presentations.
  • Deep understanding of chemical manufacturing principles and project management skills.
