Walmart Inc. seeks a Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance to keep our Plano facilities safe, reliable, and well‑presented.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, repair systems, and mentor less‑experienced associates while coordinating contractors and maintaining schedules. You’ll lead hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, manage work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• 6 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

The Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, ensures the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities through routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing major and minor repairs, and overseeing less-experienced associates. The position requires managing maintenance schedules, coordinating contractors, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Senior Technician also delivers hands‑on training, supports continuous improvement, and fosters effective collaboration to meet business needs while upholding company values and quality standards. This role is essential in sustaining operational excellence across Walmart facilities.

What you'll do:

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment operation.
• Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and powered equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong leadership capabilities to oversee projects, mentor associates, and manage contractors.
• Competence in managing maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and budget reporting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and support continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00**The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
