Job summary

Team Fishel in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a Senior Technician to plan and supervise crews on data center and telecommunications projects. You will set productivity goals, review pre-construction documents, ensure safety and quality, and manage materials and changes.

Requirements include a High School diploma, strong communication, knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and a BICSI Technician certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Polished, professional image with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic installation and security.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Represent Team Fishel in a professional manner.
• Establish clear and concise productivity goals and quality expectations for the crews.
• Prepare and review Pre-Construction project documents with the crew prior to the project start date.
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted timely.
• Provide weekly updates on the projects with a two week look ahead schedule.
• Perform Job Site inspections to ensure that all work meets Team Fishel and the customers expectations and Safety standards.
• Ensure that all necessary material, equipment and tools are delivered to the job site on schedule.
• Manage and accurately document all project change orders.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships.
• Be aware and understand the invoicing requirements for each project.
• Ensure that all necessary project closeout documentation is completed and submitted on time.
