Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Senior Technician in Rockville, MD to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealership and factory standards, building customer trust and loyalty. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing approved repairs, and conducting multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Applicants should have 2+ years of automotive technician experience, pass automotive technical training, and hold a valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance with efficiency and accuracy per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs when authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety-reliability improvements.
• Document all work on the repair order and maintain tools inventory.
