Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or related technical communication support.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe FrameMaker creating and maintaining technical manuals or similar structured documentation.
• Experience developing technical documentation from engineering source data and observation of systems and equipment.
• Strong written communication skills to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the F3113 technical writing efforts, owning documentation standards and schedules.
• Oversee documentation deadlines and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
• Attend and represent SAIC at technical writing meetings with government customers.
• Coordinate with project leads to align documentation priorities with milestones.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior technical writers on templates and style guides.
• Maintain documentation standards and central point of contact for writing questions.
