Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in writing and editing.
• Excellent document planning, writing, substantive editing, and copyediting skills.
• Commitment to customer service for subject‑matter experts and readers.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to a style guide.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Ability to interview SMEs and collaborate to plan written materials.
• Experience with Word and PowerPoint in a professional setting.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical staff to write blog posts about technical topics.
• Write technical news and feature articles for the SEI website and reports.
• Write and edit web content, scripts, and content for various media.
• Edit formal technical reports with varying levels of editing required.
• Write and edit brief articles and marketing materials.
• Coordinate with Publication teams on publications, pages, graphics, and events.
• Plan, manage, schedule, and track project tasks.
