Job summary

We are seeking a Sr Technical Writer to prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides. You will create code documentation and end-user manuals, collaborating with developers and engineers across multiple programs.

The role requires eight years of experience in technical writing, a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a bachelor’s degree (master’s can substitute two years).

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is required.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience, reducing the requirement to six years.
• TS/SCI Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit technical publications from pamphlets, drawings, and consult with engineers and subject matter experts.
• Coordinate layout and design of documents and produce end-user guides and training materials.
