Senior Technical Writer

Operational + Service Manuals Assembly Procedures Revision Control Product Web Listings Aerospace + Semiconductor

Ideal Vacuum Products is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to develop operational, service, and assembly procedure manuals, maintain documentation revisions, create technical website product listings and support documentation for existing and newly developed vacuum products and systems. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills, works independently with minimal supervision and can translate complex engineering concepts into clear, structured documentation for technicians, engineers and end users.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technicians to research and gather technical information.
  • Create clear, concise, and technically accurate documents for internal use and for customers.
  • Produce operational, service, and assembly procedure manuals for vacuum products and systems.
  • Maintain document revisions and update documentation as products change.
  • Create and maintain website product listings with accurate technical details and attributes.
  • Support documentation needed for existing and new products and systems.
Documentation Scope
  • Operational and user documentation.
  • Service and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Assembly and installation procedures.
  • Internal work instructions (as needed).
  • Technical website product listings and supporting copy.
  • Other technical documentation for new product development.
Education & Knowledge
