Job summary

Nightwing in Sterling, VA area seeks experienced and certified Technical Operations professionals to provide a safe, collaborative learning environment. The position is Sterling, VA with significant CONUS travel and possible OCONUS assignments; the ideal candidate is an SME with proven experience teaching adult learners in hands-on settings.

You will deliver engaging seminars, develop curricula, adapt methods to audiences, mentor instructors, and ensure curriculum quality while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph updated within the last five years.
• Over 10 years' experience working with the customer in a classified environment.
• Managing equipment, data security, physical security, educator certified skills, and supporting technical operations.
• Experience in Training of Trainers (ToT).
• Over 2 years' experience facilitating training and assessment courses.
• IT experience maintaining Windows and Linux workstations, networking, and communications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and written communications skills.
• Willingness to spend extended amount of time outside of the WMA in and out several training facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging, and applications-oriented training seminars to professional technical staff.
• Developing program processes and procedures as well as training curriculums.
• Adapt instructional methods and training aids to suit the audience and learning environment.
• Provide valuable feedback for curriculum updates and adhere to procedural guidelines for program delivery.
• Maintain a high level of experience in the field of technical and operational skills set.
• Organize and maintain all artifacts and records related to the program.
• Oversee a specific course, including developing curriculum, training other instructors, assessing student progress, and ensuring the requirements of subject matter is met.
• Support the planning of the training sessions and improving the skills of those who will instruct in training, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Emphasize achieving a high level of skill and knowledge in a subject and enabling the individual to teach it to others.
• Managing the overall teaching process, providing guidance and resource to other future instructors, and fostering a positive learning environment.
