Senior Technical Systems Analyst / Systems Engineer
Overview
Join a high-impact technology team developing cloud-native software platforms within a complex automotive environment. As a Senior Technical Systems Analyst / Systems Engineer, you will serve as a key technical bridge between Product Management, Software Engineering, and Project Management—transforming product vision into precise technical requirements, scalable system designs, and execution-ready delivery plans.
You will evaluate technical feasibility, author Technical Requirement Documents, define API contracts, map system dependencies, investigate integration issues, and support delivery through structured engineering processes and formal verification gates. This opportunity is ideal for a technically fluent systems professional who excels at turning ambiguity into actionable direction and guiding cross-functional teams from initial requirements through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into detailed Technical Requirement Documents, technical specifications, and execution plans.
- Define and review API specifications and contracts using REST, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenAPI 3.0, and Swagger.
- Create sequence diagrams, document system interactions, and map cross-module software dependencies.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, identify scope gaps, and surface assumptions, edge cases, and error scenarios before development begins.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to clarify requirements and align technical direction.
- Partner with Software Engineering teams on Agile planning, backlog execution, effort estimation, and delivery scheduling.
- Investigate integration test failures and system anomalies using logs, performance traces, and observability data.
- Support root-cause analysis and resolution efforts with backend and engineering teams.
- Help align software development activities with structured engineering processes and formal verification gates.
- Organize test results, verification artifacts, and evidence packages required for evaluation and release readiness.
- Maintain clear, accurate technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
