Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer Snowflake & IICS

Experience: 5-8 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time


We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Senior Technical Support Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise data integration and analytics environment. This role focuses on providing advanced support for Snowflake and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ensuring seamless data flow, job execution, and platform stability in a remote support mode.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 remote support for Snowflake and Informatica IICS.
  • Investigate and resolve data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization issues across cloud data pipelines.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize Snowflake queries and IICS workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business users to troubleshoot incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain user roles, access controls, and data governance configurations in Snowflake.
  • Document SOPs, technical solutions, and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, patch management, and deployment support.
  • Ensure SLAs are met and high availability of data services is maintained.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives for monitoring and issue detection.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in data platform support or engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including performance tuning, Snowpipe, tasks, and RBAC.
  • Solid working knowledge of Informatica IICS cloud mappings, taskflows, parameterization, and scheduling.
  • Expertise in writing and debugging complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience using incident management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote support environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Snowflake and/or Informatica IICS.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana).
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes for data platforms.
