StratasCorp is seeking a Senior Technical Strategy Analyst to provide high-level strategic support to the Program Director and Deputy Director for a major DoD IT program. The role requires synthesizing IT infrastructure and mission requirements into clear insights and shaping enterprise IT roadmaps.

On-site at Navy Yard, DC, with an active Secret clearance desired. Responsibilities include developing strategic materials, conducting technology trend analysis, and coordinating with engineering,

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy analysis or related analytical roles.

  • Ability to synthesize complex technical and mission-related information into concise insights.
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefs, reports, and visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on technology trends, capability gaps, and mission requirements related to enterprise IT environments and systems.
  • Evaluate emerging IT capabilities (cloud architectures, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, automation) for relevance to the program.
  • Develop summaries, insights, and recommendations informing the Program Director's strategic direction.
  • Assist in developing multi-year enterprise IT roadmaps, including sequencing and milestones.
  • Maintain and update strategy artifacts (concept papers, briefs, IT vision documents).
  • Support integration of technical strategy with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and program management.
  • Partner with the Technical Strategy Lead to support workshops and leadership forums.
  • Gather inputs from stakeholders across technical, operational, and business areas.
  • Consolidate feedback and refine strategy recommendations based on insights.
  • Serve as alternate for the Technical Strategy Lead in leadership forums.
  • Analyze data related to IT service delivery, performance, and adoption.
  • Develop charts, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate trends and risks.
  • Translate complex data into actionable leadership insights.
  • Draft, refine strategy documents and presentations for leadership.

Job Description

The Sr. Technical Strategy Analyst serves a critical role within the Command Action Group (CAG), providing direct, high-level support to the Program Director and Deputy Director of a major DoD acquisition program. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and executive-level strategic thinking. This role contributes to strategic research, assessments, data analysis, roadmap development, and the preparation of materials that support executive decision ‑ making for large-scale enterprise IT initiatives. Serving as the primary backup to the Technical Strategy Lead, the ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, can synthesize complex IT infrastructure information into clear insights, and is comfortable working in a fast ‑ paced CAG environment.

This role is on-site at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

An active Secret clearance is required.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on technology trends, capability gaps, and mission requirements related to enterprise IT environments and systems.
  • Evaluate emerging IT capabilities (e.g., cloud architectures, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, automation) for relevance to the acquisition program.
  • Develop summaries, insights, and recommendations that inform the Program Director's strategic direction.
Roadmap & Planning Support
  • Assist in developing multi ‑ year enterprise IT roadmaps, including sequencing, dependencies, and key acquisition milestones.
  • Maintain and update strategy artifacts, including concept papers, decision briefs, IT vision documents, and alignment frameworks.
  • Support the integration of technical strategy with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and program management workstreams.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Partner with the Technical Strategy Lead to support workshops, working sessions, and leadership forums focused on enterprise IT strategy development and alignment.
  • Gather inputs from stakeholders across technical, operational, and business areas of the Program.
  • Consolidate feedback and help refine strategy recommendations based on stakeholder insights and acquisition program needs.
  • Serve as the designated alternate for the Technical Strategy Lead, representing the CAG and the Program Director's interests in senior-level technical and strategic forums during their absence.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to IT service delivery, system performance, and enterprise technology adoption.
  • Develop charts, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate modernization trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Translate complex engineering and acquisition data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership decision ‑ making.
Documentation & Executive Communication
  • Draft, synthesize, and refine strategy documents, white papers, decision briefs, and presentations for leadership evaluation.
  • Ensure technical IT materials are clear, concise, and tailored to senior audiences across classified and unclassified environments.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy analysis, digital transformation, enterprise technology, or related analytical roles (Navy preferred).
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem ‑ solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical and mission ‑ related information into concise insights.
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefs, reports, and visualizations.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in classified environments and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a highly related technical discipline. Relevant experience (4+ years in addition to required) may be substituted for degree.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience within DoD IT acquisition programs.
  • Advanced DAWIA certifications in Program Management or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with modern DoD IT initiatives, including DoD Zero Trust Architecture, Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC), and the Software Acquisition Pathway.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000 annually.The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
