Job summary

Based in Chandler with in-person hardware testing and potential customer-site travel, you will own projects through testing, deployment, and handoffs, building solutions that connect hardware, software, and business processes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on technical engineering or systems integration experience.
• Experience with APIs, databases, Git, networking, and cloud services.
• Comfortable working with physical devices, cabling, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Able to learn unfamiliar technology, work independently, and communicate clearly.
• A track record of building working solutions and following through.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot RFID readers, antennas, scanners, printers, and Android mobile computers.
• Build scripts, utilities, applications, dashboards, and integrations using APIs, databases, REST, and MQTT.
• Use Codex, Claude, GitHub, and cloud tools to develop solutions; review and test code.
• Diagnose problems across devices, networks, software, and data flows.
• Build and test prototypes involving hardware, sensors, and automation.
• Support customer implementations and document configurations, tests, and handoffs.
• Own projects through testing, deployment, and follow-up with field installation team.

Hardware, Software & Systems Integration

Arrowhead is looking for a hands-on technical problem solver who can research a customer challenge, build a solution, test it, and put it to work. Work directly with our CTO across hardware, software, networking, integrations, and practical AI automation.

Arrowhead brings more than 35 years of experience in barcoding, RFID, enterprise mobility, industrial printing, software, and service, supporting enterprise customers and national deployments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure and troubleshoot RFID readers, antennas, scanners, printers, and Android mobile computers.
• Build scripts, utilities, applications, dashboards, and integrations using APIs, databases, REST, and MQTT.
• Use Codex, Claude, GitHub, and cloud tools to develop solutions. Understand, review, and test the code you deliver.
• Diagnose problems across devices, networks, software, and data flows.
• Build and test prototypes involving hardware, sensors, labels, and automation.
• Support customer implementations and document configurations, tests, and handoffs.
• Own projects through testing, deployment, and follow-up, collaborating with our field installation team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Approximately 5–8 years of hands-on technical engineering, systems integration, or comparable practical experience.
• Experience with APIs, databases, Git, networking, and cloud services.
• Comfortable working with physical devices, cabling, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Able to learn unfamiliar technology, work independently, and communicate clearly.
• A record of building working solutions and following through.

RFID, Zebra hardware, industrial automation, and enterprise mobility experience are preferred. Strong fundamentals, curiosity, and resourcefulness matter more than specific vendor experience. A degree is not required.

Based in Chandler, in-person hardware testing and collaboration . Customer-site travel may be required.

Preliminary base salary range: $75,000–$120,000 annually, depending on relevant experience.
