Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking an onsite IT professional in Exton, PA. The role involves maintaining site infrastructure and end-user devices in line with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. You will work with regional and global Digital & Transformation teams to ensure compliant operations.

Requirements include 3+ years in IT support/IT operations, a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent, and strong English communication. The role is on-site with 5 days/week and 10% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of IT support and/or IT operations, ideally in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for IT systems and end-users in the facility (SFS, MES, ERP, servers, LAN/WAN, desktops).
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem determination/resolution.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to maintain the service catalogue and SLAs; support local/site rollouts.

This is an onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days a week. No relocation is provided for this opportunity. Job Summary

In this role, you will work closely with the regional and global Digital and Transformation team. The role will be responsible for developing and efficiently operating all aspects of the site's infrastructure and End User devices in line with corporate guidelines and procedures. Performs duties in line with best Digital and Transformation practices and applicable regulatory requirements (i.e., cGMP, Computer System Validation, 21 CFR part 11 compliance).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide support for IT systems and End-Users in the facility, including, but not limited to: Shop Floor Systems (SFS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Virtual and Physical servers, LAN/WAN equipment, desktop computers and laptops, communication, and collaboration systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem determination/resolution.
• Collaborate with the regional and global Digital and Transformation organization to maintain the service catalogue and Service level agreements in alignment with global / regional and site-specific IT services.
• Participate in local, regional, and global Digital and Transformation projects and coordinate roll-out of same on local site level.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs/ Utilize and leverage Service Management tools for tracking of workloads.
• Professional attitude in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work area.
• Exemplary behavior in IT security related topics.
• Participate in “on-call” support rotation.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience of IT support and / or IT operations, ideally in regulatory manufacturing environment.
• Experiences in collaboration within international teams.
