Job summary

Brookfield Renewable U.S. is seeking a Manager, Technical Services to support development, construction and operations across wind, solar, storage and hydro projects.

You will guide interdisciplinary teams, manage interconnection studies, and contribute to due diligence in M&A contexts. Based in Queensbury or Potsdam, NY, the role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in renewable generation (solar, storage, wind, hydro) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, dispersed teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the lifecycle of project development from origination to operations.
• Lead screening, design and optimization for wind, solar, storage and hydro projects across the U.S.
• Participate as technical expert in M&A due diligence processes.
• Identify and hire consultants for interconnection studies across regions.
• Participate in structuring and negotiation of large construction contracts.
• Manage independent engineers for asset evaluations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors and partners.
• Present business cases for projects selected for investment.
• Establish QA/QC processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Align with health, safety and environment values and support US Operations.
• Travel and remote work as needed.
