Job summary

Wacker Neuson is seeking a Technical Service Specialist III to support multiple product lines through repair assistance, after‑sales support, and dealer communications. You will act as a subject matter expert, assist in warranty administration, and coordinate training for field personnel across domestic and international dealers.

The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, schematics literacy, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related business program or engineering.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on mechanical/electrical experience in automotive, industrial, construction or agriculture industries.
Proficient electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of two cycle, four cycle, and diesel engines and emissions control systems.
Expert knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to read schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication and public speaking skills.
Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel up to 10%, including globally.

Responsibilities

Provide repair assistance via telephone, email, web or fax to global customers.
Process dealer requests for equipment issues and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with lead factory technical support on complex issues.
Document activities in assigned systems.
Author short technical articles for common questions.
Provide after-sales support for assigned products and parts.
Coordinate product training for staff within assigned product group.
Assist with warranty processing and communicate findings.
Support Field Sales Force and Field Service Trainers with technical information.
Travel with Field Service team for service schools and training seminars.
