Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support the West Texas sales territory. You will interact daily with clients and the sales team, conducting site surveys, providing technical support, and offering training on chemical products to ensure quality and value.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Chemical Engineering with 4+ years in oil and gas, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel 50%+ to cover the West Texas region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (Master) degree in Chemical Engineering preferred or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Strong Technical Background and Support Experience.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills among various business groupings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surveys and field support during assigned project requests.
• Provide analytical support and process recommendations for products used in the production group resulting in increased sales.
• Provide informational training seminars to clients regarding the chemical products sold and address technical or operational issues from field challenges.
• Develop recommendations and optimization options for customers and sales team.
• Research and development of new products to preclude or minimize future client issues.
• Be a technical resource to educate and train the sales team on all chemical products sold.
