You will lead designs, review plans, and ensure quality while guiding junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 20+ years of roadway experience, and deep familiarity with ODOT standards and Civil 3D/Open Roads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 20+ years of roadway design experience expected.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Extensive experience with ODOT and local agency design standards.
• Strong knowledge of plan set development and roadway software.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical roadway design for transportation projects, including ODOT, and county/municipal agencies
• Develop and review roadway plans, including roadway alignments, profiles, cross sections, traffic control and maintenance of traffic design
• Perform detailed plan reviews for quality, standards compliance and constructability
• Support internal QA/QC processes and design best practices
• Mentor junior technical staff and provide design guidance, including checking and review
• Maintain proficiency in current roadway design standards and software
• Review and stamp bridge plans as Engineer of Record when required

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000

Posted salary ranges reflect market-based averages for the role. Final compensation will be determined based on each candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
