Senior Technical Revenue Accountant, M&A Accounting Operations

Join to apply for the Senior Technical Revenue Accountant, M&A Accounting Operations role at Autodesk.

Position Overview
The M&A Accounting Operations team supports company-wide strategic initiatives such as business model transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and digital financial transformation. The Senior Revenue Analyst will report to the M&A Accounting Operations Senior Manager, supporting revenue operations for all mergers and acquisitions along with traditional accounting tasks.

This position can work remotely from anywhere in the USA.

Responsibilities
  • Support M&A Accounting Operations Manager to efficiently integrate acquired entities into Autodesk
  • Analyze accounting, reporting, and process implications of acquisitions and provide guidance
  • Perform account monthly analysis and reconciliations for M&A revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with ASC 606
  • Prepare quarterly audit schedules and reports for internal and external reporting
  • Implement and document processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Participate in companywide revenue accounting and order-to-cash projects
  • Draft technical accounting memos on ASC 606 application
Minimum Qualifications
  • CPA license
  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably combining public accounting and industry
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams
  • Experience with monthly/quarterly close, reconciliations, audits
  • Experience with ASC 606 contract analysis and documentation
  • Hands-on with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Rev Pro)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ASC 805-Business Combinations
  • Experience in the software industry

Salary Transparency

Starting salary ranges from $79,400 to $136,950, based on experience and location. Includes bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
