Job summary

Vast Space Llc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to support engineering hiring for the systems required to design and build human-rated space stations. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Long Beach.

You will own full-cycle recruiting across multiple engineering disciplines, partner with managers, and develop sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience and data-driven hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and report recruiting metrics such as interview and outreach conversion rates and pipeline health, and proactively flag potential barriers and risks to the hiring plan using data
  • Ensure consistent recruiting processes and documentation within the ATS

Vast is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter, reporting to the Lead Technical Recruiter, to support engineering hiring for the systems required to design and build human-rated space stations.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Long Beach.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates
Preferred Experience
  • Recruiting experience in Engineering — Mechanical, Avionics, Propulsion, Thermal Controls, Software, GNC, Structures, or Satellites
  • Experience using Greenhouse ATS or a similar Applicant Tracking System
  • Demonstrated experience operating autonomously and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and process discipline
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-scaling organizations

Pay Range: California

$116,000 - $164,000 USD

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package.
