Job summary

Credence is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter specializing in US Air Force and Defense federal sectors. This role covers full life cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates to hiring managers, with emphasis on security-clearance positions.

The position will be hybrid in Dayton, OH starting Winter 2026, requiring collaboration with Credence Hiring team to meet staffing needs and support proposals and business development efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of IT-focused recruiting experience including DoD/Intel/Civilian Federal contracting environments.
Experience recruiting for security clearance positions within DoD, Intel and Civilian Federal contracting environments.
Strong sourcing and relationship-building skills; ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Source and screen active and passive candidates for US Air Force and Defense programs.
Submit candidates to hiring managers for review and support administrative hiring processes.
Develop targeted recruitment strategies and build candidate pipelines; attend job fairs and manage ATS documentation.
Support business development/capture and proposal efforts by identifying qualified candidates and documenting pricing realism.

Credence has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter specializing in the US Air Force and Defense federal sectors who will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting - sourcing and screening active and passive talent, determining qualifications against open requisitions, submitting candidates to hiring managers for review, as well as supporting the overall administrative hiring processes.

Credence has an upcoming need for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter who will be responsible for sourcing and screening active and passive talent, determining qualifications against open requisitions, submitting candidates to hiring managers for review, as well as supporting the overall administrative hiring processes. This position will be onboarding this winter 2026 and will be hybrid in Dayton OH.

Work collaboratively with the Credence Hiring team to identify immediate and future staffing needs, job duties and requirements.
Must have demonstrated experience developing targeted recruitment strategies using a variety of resources in order to identify and develop candidates for hiring needs of organization.
Post job advertisements, utilize social media resources to network available opportunities and build candidate pipelines, attend job fairs, and maintain applicant tracking system with documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.
Review and screen on-linejob applications, utilize various databases to source and review resumes, identify potentially qualified candidates, initiate contact with and interview interested candidates, send suitable matches to hiring managers.
Provide strategic support to the business development/capture efforts by identifying candidates and companies supporting specific programs or customers.
Provide support to proposal efforts by engaging with targeted candidates to determine qualifications and obtain required documentation, as well as providing pricing realism for execution and delivery post-award.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required. At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience recruiting for IT-focused positions and skill sets, to include, but not limited to:
- UI/UX Developers
- AI/ML and Data Scientists/Engineers
- DevSecOps Developers
- ServiceNow Developers
- Front End Java Developers
- Cloud Network Engineers
- Solution Data Architect
- Sr. Software Engineers
- Cybersecurity Engineers
Must have demonstrated experience recruiting for security clearance positions within the DoD, Intel and Civilian Federal contracting environment
Experienced with MS Office Suite of applications.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Knowledgeable of DoD security clearance requirements. Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
General knowledge of various employment laws and best practices.
Ability to work with various departments and foster a collaborative teamwork environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Willingness to travel, as necessary.

May be required to occasionally lift 10-20 pounds
