Unlearn.ai, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for technical, scientific, and operations roles. You will partner with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand needs and define what great looks like, while driving a data-driven, inclusive hiring process.

This remote role offers a path to influence hiring across the organization, with optional SF Bay Area hybrid office attendance and occasional in-person onboarding and travel as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical roles.
Experience recruiting at startups or growth-stage healthtech, biotech, or clinical research.
Experience hiring scientific/technical roles such as Data Science and ML and people managers.
Strong sourcing toolkit and track record of closing competitive candidates.

Responsibilities

Run full-cycle recruiting for technical, scientific and operations roles, from sourcing and intake through scheduling, candidate experience, offer and close.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build strategy and structured interview plans.
Proactively source strong candidates.
Manage offers with compensation philosophy and market-based pay bands, and explain equity and benefits clearly.
Track hiring and onboarding metrics and recommend improvements.
Build employer brand and candidate experience reflecting company values.
Shape fair, equitable, and inclusive hiring practices.
Lead onboarding sessions with new hires.
Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects.

Your Role

Leading pharma and biotech companies trust Unlearn to deliver scientifically rigorous work on clinical studies where the stakes are high and the timelines are real.

As our Senior Technical Recruiter, you'll lead full‑cycle recruiting to build the teams that do this work. You'll report to the Director of HR on the Finance & Operations team and partner closely with our Clinical Delivery, Commercial, Engineering, Product and R&D teams to understand what each role needs and what great looks like.

This role is execution‑focused and metrics‑driven, with a strong emphasis on quality and values alignment. Many of our roles are niche, so a rigorous hiring process is key to finding the right match. You won't be starting from scratch: we have a solid talent acquisition foundation in place and a compelling organization brand. We're always looking to improve it, though, and we'd welcome your ideas for shaping the role and the function to grow.

This is a remote role. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, you are welcome to come to our office on a hybrid schedule. If you are remote, we would require an initial 1‑week onboarding in San Francisco and visiting the office 1‑2 times per year in addition.

Help shape our approach to fair, equitable, and inclusive hiring
Lead onboarding sessions with new hires
Contribute to ad‑hoc HR projects

Requirements

5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including technical roles
Experience recruiting at a startup or growth‑stage healthtech, biotech, life sciences, or clinical research company
Experience hiring scientific or technical roles such as Data Science and Machine Learning as well as people manager roles
A strong sourcing toolkit and a track record of closing competitive candidates
Track record of using data to run the funnel, with specific metrics named: time‑to‑fill, pass‑through rates, offer acceptance, source quality
Proven ability to learn/understand scientific and clinical concepts well enough to describe technical roles credibly to candidates
Experience leveraging AI tools in sourcing and outreach
Clear, warm communication style; ability to build trusting relationships; and handle confidential information with appropriate discretion.
