Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Senior Technical Publications Manager to lead documentation for defense products. You will partner with product and operations teams, manage a staff of technical writers, and ensure accurate, updated user-facing materials that meet customer and contract requirements.

You will drive the documentation lifecycle, develop style guides, and deploy scalable tooling while maintaining high-quality manuals, release notes, and guidance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Experience building content in various authoring tools (RapidAuthor, Arbortext).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with emphasis on technical subjects.
• Excellent project-management skills with autonomy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be eligible for Secret or higher security clearance (US).
• Willingness to relocate onsite to Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit user-focused documentation with engineering and operations.
• Contribute to the technical writing toolkit, from style guides to tooling.
• Prioritize tasks to support documentation efforts and manage risks to the roadmap.
• Communicate risks, mitigations, and resource needs to leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of documentation and scale contributions across teams.
