Job summary

T and D Communications, an ICT services company active in California since 1982, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead large-scale low-voltage and network installations in California and beyond.

You'll manage all phases from kickoff to closeout, control budgets over $2 million, coordinate with field Supervisors, technicians and clients, and ensure safety, quality and thorough project reporting in a union shop environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, trade school degree, or equivalent training.
• Minimum 5 years of technical field experience.
• Experience managing all project phases from kickoff to closeout.
• Experience handling projects valued over $2 million.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong financial management to report on KPIs and keep projects on budget.
• Understanding of low voltage systems: surveillance, access control, WLAN, DAS, cabling.
• Experience in a union shop.
• Preferred: BICSI RCDD, PMP, MS Project, Visio, PlanGrid, Blue Beam.
• MS Office 365 Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive/SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure protocols and procedures are followed.
• Manage projects and service work on Client site, as necessary and assigned.
• Assess manpower loading and required skill sets to staff projects properly.
• Provide support and direction to Field Supervisors and Foremen, performing checks for accuracy and quality of work.
• Complete administrative and work related duties as assigned in a timely fashion.
• Develop and maintain communications with all levels of Staff, Technicians, Partners and Clients.
• Track and manage the financial health of the project budget vs actual expenditures.
• Deliver projects on time and on budget.
