Job summary

The Cadmus Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead ML/DS/AI initiatives for a major automotive entertainment client. You will coordinate across engineering teams, remove blockers, and drive timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as TPM/Scrum Master, strong Jira skills, and experience with ML/DS/AI teams, with PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, BI or Analytics or Engineering.
• Strong technical proficiency and experience with ML or DS/AI teams.
• Experience managing large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments.
• Experience performing TPM best practices (schedule development, risk management, status reporting).
• Experience maintaining and reporting program data, preferably in Jira.
• Deep understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies and process adherence.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to facilitate teams.
• A composed presence with business acumen and multi-level communication.
• Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
• Preferred certifications: PMP or Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate across multiple engineering teams delivering ML/DS/AI features and capabilities.
• Oversee end-to-end activities to ensure on-time delivery; build integrated schedules.
• Lead Agile ceremonies; assist with story definition, backlog prioritization, dependency resolution.
• Help teams balance scope, timeline, and quality based on priorities.
• Advocate for clear priorities, technical excellence, and customer outcomes.
• Influence without authority and drive consensus among stakeholders.
