Senior Technical Project Manager – Remote (United States)

Overview

Seeking an experienced, energetic and collaborative Engineering Program Manager to define and drive product success for our cloud-based service platform. Lead multiple complex projects or programs, develop recovery strategies for deviations, and contribute to a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the project plan including scope, schedule and risk management
• Drive execution and end-to-end ownership of complex, technical programs to successful completion
• Foster deep collaboration across a network of critical dependencies
• Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently
• Lead cross-functional project meetings and milestone reviews
• Deliver executive communication and influence decision-making
• Manage stakeholder and team communications and updates
• Develop roadmaps and milestones for projects based on input from Product teams
• Monitor progress and design recovery strategies if projects deviate from plan

Minimum Qualifications

• Local to the greater Toronto area (note: if this role is remote, please specify location applicability)
• BS degree (or relevant/industry-standard experience) with 5+ years of experience
• Experience in rapidly growing organizations
• Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience; preference for candidates transitioning from lead development to Program Management
• Strategic and tactical thinking with ability to build consensus
• Proven ability to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts creatively
• Thorough knowledge of software engineering principles and agile methodologies
• 5+ years’ experience managing fast-paced agile software projects with aggressive schedules
• Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and industry trends
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong problem-solving abilities

Compensation and Benefits

Total Compensation: anticipated base range $148,000.00 - $174,000.00 + bonus + equity + benefits (including 401k plan with company match, life insurance, health, dental, vision, and other benefits).
