The Company
Halo Industries has invented a revolutionary technology to replace a decades-old semiconductor material slicing
process. Our laser-based technology eliminates waste, improves material cost and performance, and drives
advancements in high-growth markets like automotive, telecommunications, and power electronics. Founded in 2014
at Stanford University, Halo secured significant funding in 2024 and is poised for rapid growth, engaging strategic
customers and preparing for volume manufacturing.
The Opportunity
The evolution of Halo’s technology and equipment, growing from an R&D focus to a production manufacturing
environment, has triggered the need for a Technical Project Manager who can lead the development and deployment of
the company’s material slicing production tooling.
Job Description
The technical project manager will oversee the electrical system design and integration for our laser products and will
have the following responsibilities:
● Responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects from initiation
through closure.
● Driving PLM phase gate readiness for product design and production release.
● Ensure overall quality of the work, manage projects triple constraints, and provide regular updates on project
status.
● Aid in determining the product or system requirements.
● Identify any bottlenecks and implement improvements, overseeing and advancing the risk management plan.
● Define project deliverables for engineers, allocate tasks, and closely monitor progress.
● Develop and implement communication strategies with the project team and keep all stakeholders informed,
address issues as they arise, and maintain alignment.
● Tracking the status and ensuring timely delivery of the manufacturing or construction of products or systems.
● Aid in the evaluation of systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
● Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with program management and other project stakeholders.
Education & Experience
● Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or
related discipline.
● 4+ years of experience in Product Development experience of complex engineering systems,
preferably in the semiconductor industry.
● Demonstrated track record of successful product delivery.
● Experience with transitioning products from prototype to production/manufacturing scale.
● Experience leading teams comprising 5 to 10 engineers.
● Proficiency managing suppliers and contractors.
● Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
