Job Description

The Technical Project Manager role at CapTech is multi‑faceted by the very nature of the services we provide to our clients. Success within our diverse range of clients requires the ability to adapt and perform in a wide variety of technology‑driven project environments.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a delivery lead for cross‑functional team(s), bringing together the business, the delivery team, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Share and implement best practices from different development methodologies (ex: Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models) as needed by project.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to facilitate conversations and enable decision making.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements.
  • Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
  • Develop and communicate integrated project plans and/or roadmaps to establish, monitor, manage, and report key milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the project delivery and support the triage and resolution of critical issues that arise throughout the project.
  • Perform hands‑on delivery work, including analysis, design, process engineering, and change management, as needed by the project.
  • Desire to share with and develop a community of project managers and leaders.
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations, with a robust portfolio of CRM and ERP projects.
  • Experience creating process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, or system diagrams to visualize current and future state solutions.
  • Understanding how MS Dynamics and Power Platform integrates with other components in an Enterprise, like Salesforce.
  • Experience in both agile and traditional project or program management roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful management of large and complex technology projects.
  • Experience in successfully facilitating stakeholder discussions and driving towards specific outcomes.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project or program management role, preferably with full agile development life cycle experience.
  • Implement creative thinking and seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
  • Ability to establish credibility and trust with clients through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient at managing and leading diverse teams made up of people with a variety of technical skills and backgrounds, in different locations (i.e., remote and/or on‑site), and from different organizations (i.e., CapTechers, client employees, and/or other vendors).
Training and Certification
  • Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Agile Alliance
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications is strongly preferred.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills, total relevant experience, job level, and geographic location. The base pay range for this role is: $110,000 - $200,000.
