Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT/IS/EE/EC/Computer Engineering/Computer Networking/Telecommunications, plus 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years of experience in: managing cross-functional technical teams; defining and tracking KPIs; automating workflows; translating business goals and requirements into solutions.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, C#, .NET, Tableau, SQL, HTML/XML, Python (NumPy, Pandas & Matplotlib), and R.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize tools, processes, and technical knowledge to integrate Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for clients.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Senior Technical Project Manager. Utilize tools, process, and technical knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for clients. Lead and manage the integration of customer websites onto the Akamai platform. Evaluate and pair customer requirements to applicable Akamai solutions. Define core project management activities, timelines, and responsibilities to establish efficiency and success. Partner with variety of internal business units to ensure project alignment. Track, document and share information to provide visibility to stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States. [AG0512]

Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or Telecommunications, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Must have: Three (3) years of experience in the following: managing cross-functional technical teams; defining and tracking KPIs; automating workflows; translating business goals and requirements into solutions; C, C++, and C#; .NET; Tableau; SQL; basic HTML/XML; Python (NumPy, Pandas & Matplotlib); and R.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $131,539-$215,400 /year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
