Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Program Manager II (Technical Operations) to bridge technical vision with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead end-to-end programs, design scalable data pipelines, and set SOPs to accelerate technical velocity while maintaining quality and governance. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data Science to unblock milestones, manage vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement across global operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program management, technical operations, or data-driven project management.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets) to conduct root-cause analysis and justify program spend.
• Documented experience independently leading the full lifecycle of at least two large-scale technical initiatives from inception to deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (or 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• Proven ability to resolve scope misalignments and dependencies across cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs, focusing on strategic scoping, stakeholder alignment, and operational execution.
• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines and SOPs to enhance technical velocity and quality.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science to resolve operational blockers and ensure seamless milestone delivery.
• Oversee global vendor performance and identify systemic process gaps, driving continuous improvement in program capability.
