Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to lead new product development within the Epi Business Unit in Santa Clara, CA.

You will drive programs from planning through commercialization, coordinating hardware, software, and systems teams to deliver on time and within budget. The role requires deep PM expertise in complex product development, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex matrix environment across hardware, software, and systems integration.
• 10–15 years of technical program management experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience with Epi and integrated system experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; strong technical and PM skills.
• Solid understanding of product development processes and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception through commercialization.
• Manage project schedule and tasks using PM tools and tracking.
• Coordinate cross-division resources to meet on-time, within-budget goals.
• Drive cost and schedule performance of equipment for global customers and vendors.
• Lead multifunctional design teams and provide technical input to achieve goals.
• Interface across divisions to define objectives and prepare for release.
• Provide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs/issues.
• Identify and resolve project complications and mitigate risks.
• Identify critical paths and drive early risk mitigation during development.
