Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for Amazon Leo in Redmond, WA. You will shape the future of satellite network programs, delivering strategic outcomes across cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, finance, and legal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning and execution of multiple simultaneous time-sensitive workstreams within a program involving multiple dependencies and stakeholders
• Collaborate across engineering, product, operations, finance, legal, and other stakeholder teams to drive requirement completeness, set priorities, and coordinate delivery timelines
• Author and publish regular leadership updates, executive communications, and program narratives leveraging data and metrics
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery
• Drive alignment and accountability across cross-functional teams to meet program goals and timelines
• Influence decision-making and drive strategic initiatives by leveraging data, metrics, and strong program narratives
• Continuously improve program delivery through lessons learned, process optimization, and scalable practices
• You must be familiar with a variety of project management concepts, methodologies, and techniques for all phases of the project life-cycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.
