Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking aSenior Technical Program Manager for Amazon Braket to drive multi-team programs and partnerships with external quantum hardware providers.

You will shape operational and security requirements, coordinate release planning, and help prioritize resources in a fast-paced, technical environment. You will collaborate with software engineers and scientists, work on complex, ambiguous problems, and influence the strategic direction of AWS quantum

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
• Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help grow one of AWS’s most forward-looking services. You will drive programs and solutions that help customers experiment with quantum technologies, develop new skills, discover potential applications, and plan for the future. You must enjoy working on complex and ambiguous problems and working with engineers and scientists to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain market. You are familiar with software development best practices, building and managing scalable systems, and delivering a user experience that customers will love.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
