Job summary

Google's Mountain View, CA office is seeking a Technical Program Manager II for the Kids and Families Core. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from planning to delivery, collaborating with ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, and legal teams.

You will drive end-to-end model lifecycle, manage data pipelines, validation, and deployment, and ensure compliance with global policy while communicating risks and milestones to executives and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and shipping technical products.
• Experience managing software releases and deployment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ML engineering, product, and data science teams to develop project plans, track milestones, identify technical risks, and drive programs to schedule.
• Coordinate and manage technical interdependencies across distinct workstreams (e.g., ensuring data engineering pipelines finish in time to feed model training and evaluation schedules).
• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, data science, and legal to navigate priorities, drive alignment, and ensure global regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement operational process improvements to make ML model training, validation, and deployment cycles more efficient and scalable.
• Communicate program status, timelines, and technical risks clearly to the core team and downstream internal partner teams.
