Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast‑paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) supporting Axon Cloud Security, you’ll drive the execution of Axon’s most critical security compliance programs, including GovRAMP, CJIS and related government certification and regulatory efforts. You will partner closely with Cloud Engineering, Product Security, and Compliance teams to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable solutions that meet stringent market standards.

In this role, you will serve as the execution lead for security compliance initiatives—driving clarity amid ambiguity, building and managing complex project plans, coordinating cross‑functional engineering efforts, and ensuring audit readiness. You will help scale Axon’s secure cloud infrastructure while maintaining a culture of operational excellence, trust, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Location: This role is based out of one of our offices (Atlanta, Boston, Scottsdale, or Seattle) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in‑person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in‑office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

Reports to: Senior Director, Trust & Security

  • Partner with Security, Compliance, Product, and Infrastructure Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of control implementations and remediations.
  • Own integrated program plans spanning multiple engineering organizations, products, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Establish and maintain detailed program roadmaps, schedules, and risk registers—tracking progress across multiple teams and dependencies.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance delivery velocity, audit readiness, and compliance automation across the engineering lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary execution liaison between engineering and compliance stakeholders, translating regulatory frameworks into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure continuous authorization and operational excellence.
  • Communicate program status, key metrics, and escalation paths clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Champion Axon’s leadership principles, building trust and driving accountability across distributed teams in Seattle, Scottsdale, and Vietnam.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other related Bachelor of Science field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex software and infrastructure programs, with at least 5 years in security or compliance‑focused technical program management.
  • Proven ability to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions aligned with frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or DoD SRG.
  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery practices, risk management, dependency tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large‑scale technical initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and regulatory oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical details into executive‑level narratives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: relationship building, conflict resolution, mentorship, and stakeholder alignment.
  • A passion for Axon’s mission—leveraging technology to protect life and support those who serve.
